The Supple Beverage or Supple Juice or drink infomercial features the CEO of the company (Peter Apatow) being interviewed by Dr. Moniy Poudyal M.D. Expect to pay $65 a month or so for Supple. If you just want to skip the review and purchase a similar product called joint juice that will work just as good if not better for 1/3 the price click here. Both Supple drink and joint juice are being touted as legitimite treatments for arthritis and joint pain.

I am naturally doubtfull about certain claims made in the Supple infomercial. They also make some less extraordinary claims I feel are legitimate and deserve to be made. One does not need to buy Joint Juice or Supple to get the benifit from the key ingredients that in both beverages.

So what are the alternatives to Joint Juice and Supple?

Joint Juice and Supple both feature Glucosamine Sulfate and Chondroitin as their two main active ingredients. Though the infomercial seems to suggest that Supple is the only product that contains both Glucosamine and Chondroitin, this is not really the case. Glucosamine and Chondroitin can be found in many supplement products. Other products contain these two ingredients.

The informercial makes one legitimate claim. Many who take Chondroitin and Glucosamine are not taking a high enough dose to see any real benifit from the supplements, and may be taking in inferior quality compounds. This is quite accurate. It does’nt take much more than an internet search to reveal that most joint health products don’t contain enough of the two substances to be of any benefit, including Joint Juice and Supple. Most data indicates you need a dose of 1500mgs per day of glucosamine sulfate and 1200mgs of chondroitin. The main thing one need to look for in quality of the two compounds is make sure that you are purchasing it from an FDA approved and inspected laboratory.

Loosing wieght is another claim that was made in the Supple infomercial. This in my opinion is ridiculous. You don’t lose weight by taking in more calories. Weight loss comes as a result of lowering the caloric intake. Taking a formula contained in capsules would help you to do this simply because there are less calories in a capsule than a drink. Supple Drink and Joint Juice do both contain sugar. It is possible that one could lose weight with the right type of quality supplement for joint pain. As the pain is being relieved by the supplements, one is likely to become more active. This is really what makes weight loss a possibility. It is likely that as you lose weight, that there will be less stress on your joints, and less pain.
